SkyWest selects UTC Aerospace Systems for E-Jet maintenance, repair and overhaul services

UTC Aerospace Systems has entered into a long-term agreement with SkyWest, Inc. to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for their fleet of more than 100 ERJ175 aircraft.

UTC Aerospace Systems has entered into a long-term agreement with SkyWest, Inc. to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for their fleet of more than 100 ERJ175 aircraft. The 14-year agreement covers actuation systems, electric systems, air management systems, fire protection, sensors and evacuation. UTC Aerospace Systems is a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

The MRO work will be performed at various UTC Aerospace Systems facilities across the United States.

SkyWest, Inc. is the holding company for two North American regional airlines, SkyWest Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines, and an aircraft leasing company. SkyWest’s airline companies provide commercial air service in cities across the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean with approximately 4,000 daily flights and a fleet of 748 aircraft.
