LONDON, England – The fractional ownership leader, NetJets Europe, announced today its approved certification to operate its Signature Series™ Phenom 300 aircraft at La Mole airport in the South of France. The certification will allow customers even closer access to the popular Southern French resort destinations, such as St Tropez.

Marine Eugene, NetJets Europe Head of Sales comments: “It is a very busy time of the year for NetJets, with many of our customers wishing to holiday in St Tropez over the summer season. We have assessed their flight patterns and listened to their feedback, and we are delighted to be able to offer La Mole to our Phenom 300 Owners as an additional airport for their consideration. This is a further example of how NetJets is able to use its 50 years of expertise within the industry to continue enhancing our service offering.”

Varying winds, high terrain, heavy helicopter traffic and strict aircraft performance requirements have previously resulted in a special authorisation requirement to operate at La Mole. Following a survey at the airport, NetJets Europe successfully submitted the operational approval package and its Signature Series™ Phenom 300 pilots went through the necessary training through the French South-Eastern Civil Aviation Directorate to ensure permission to operate at La Mole.

“We have the best pilots in the world, flying on the most advanced aircraft. With their training at this additional airport, NetJets further highlights how it stands out from its competitors. With access at La Mole, this will enable our Signature Series™ Phenom 300 customers with a rapid reach from more than 1,000 airports across Europe to one of the most popular summer resorts,” adds Marine Eugene.

Due to its excellent performance, the Phenom 300 is one of the few jet aircraft types that can operate at La Mole. The Signature Series™ Phenom 300, which is due to enter the European fleet in the coming weeks, redefines what’s possible in a light jet. Its range, speed and reliability are among the best available, while its cabin offers customers comfort and amenities, including dual climate zones and spacious leg and head room, usually found only on larger aircraft. The combination of high performance and thoughtful design makes the Phenom 300 a uniquely capable aircraft – attributes leading to its certification at La Mole.
