World Tourism Network

You are invited to be a guest on the most important New Years discussion for travel and tourism. World Tourism Network wants your story.

2022 was the year of tourism resilience. Destinations such as Jamaica for example are currently exceeding arrival numbers compared to pre-COVID 2019.

Other destinations, such as Hong Kong are just now reopening for tourism.

A global tourism resilience day was born, and record participation at the WTTC summit in Riyadh was registered. International air travel is at an all-time record high in many parts of the world.

There are not enough people employed in the sector to handle the sudden increase in business. Tourism is knocking on doors everywhere. Are these doors really open?

Obviously, everyone was hungry to get out after 2 years of travel restrictions. An ongoing war in Ukraine, record inflation in North America, an emerging energy crisis in Europe, and a shortage of pilots, of hospitality workers, are predictions for the travel and tourism industry over-optimistic.

2022 was an interesting year, and the World Tourism Network in Cooperation with ICTP na Ụlọ ọrụ njem nlegharị anya Africa ya na eTurboNews is inviting travel and tourism professionals to an “End of the Year 2022” discussion.

World Tourism Network wants to hear from you: Did we do it?

The Zoom event will be live-streamed on all eTurboNews, TravelNewsGroup, WTN, Vimeo, and YOUTUBE platforms.

Everyone part of the travel and tourism sector is invited. There is no charge, and you don’t have to be a member to be part of it.

This may be the most important discussion to set the tone for a successful and hopefully more peaceful 2023.
