As part of its launch campaign for its new drink V+ Veltins, one of Germany’s largest breweries, recently organized a spectacular holiday for 300 lucky prize winners at the five-star Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi.
Invitations to join the party were printed underneath 150 bottle caps and the finders and their partners were on their way to an all expenses paid, luxury six-day trip to one of Thailand’s top resort hotels!

It was “party all the way” with a seemingly endless round of parties and beach excursions tailor-made by the Centara Hotels & Resorts experts, the events team from Veltins and the Organizers, Capito Consulting.

The scene was set on the first day of the program when the group was transferred in traditional Thai long-tail boats to the beach of a nearby island for breakfast before transferring back to the hotel for poolside relaxation, lunch and a series of parties.

Probably the most memorable activity for the group members was the opportunity on the last night to take part in a traditional Thai Balloon Ceremony, where participants each fired up and released their own traditional, Thai paper lantern balloon. The balloons are powered by the hot air produced by their own small oil lamp and make a spectacular and moving sight as they drift upwards into the sky until finally disappearing from sight.
