South African Airlink and the TTA airline have established a new carrier that will serve Mozambique’s domestic and regional markets, Business Day reported, citing SA Airlink Chief Executive Officer Rodger Foster.

TTA Airlink will begin operating daily flights between Maputo and Johannesburg on Feb. 14, with other routes to be introduced at a later date, the Johannesburg-based newspaper said.

SA Airlink will own 49 percent of the new carrier, while closely held TTA will own the balance, Business Day said.
