Kicking off the celebration, the County along with Argbọ elu mba ụwa nke McCarran will host a performance from the one and only…Elvis [impersonator] on Feb. 13 starting at 3 p.m. Couples flying return on Southwest Airlines who purchase their marriage license from the Pop-Up Marriage License Office will enjoy special perks from the airline on their return flight as newlyweds – from priority boarding to in-flight announcements to even a custom Married in Vegas champagne bottle – the airline is pulling out all the stops to surprise couples. Marriage License Bureau in Downtown Las Vegas

Those going through the main Marriage License Bureau will also enjoy a “selfie station” inside the bureau leading up to and for Valentine’s Day weekend from Feb. 12-16 for even more fun photo op moments.

Both the Terminal 1 Pop-Up Marriage License Bureau and the main bureau in Downtown Las Vegas will also have a custom ‘Married in Vegas Feb. 2020’ Snapchat filter. All couples getting married in Clark County in February 2020 will also get to take home a souvenir ‘Married in Vegas Feb. 2020’ keepsake and auto decal to celebrate their marriage during this popular month and year.

“Las Vegas is a great place to get married,” County Clerk Lynn Goya said. “We anticipate that 2020 will be a very busy year for weddings as couples take advantage of the year 2020. This pop-up office will make it even easier for couples to get their marriage license and allow them to have more time to spend having fun.”

The temporary office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily from Feb. 13-29. This is the third consecutive year the Clerk’s Office will open a temporary Marriage License Bureau at the airport. It will only issue marriage licenses and vow renewal certificates, and will accept credit card payments only. Couples may also get a marriage license and vow renewal certificate at the Marriage License Bureau main office at 201 E. Clark Ave. in downtown Las Vegas. The main office is on the south side of the Regional Justice Center just three blocks south of the Fremont Street Experience, and is open from 8 a.m. to midnight every day, including holidays.

Couples coming to Las Vegas to get married are encouraged to fill out a marriage license pre-application, which can be found through the County website at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov. (Select “Get a Marriage License” under “Popular Services” on the left side of the webpage.) After completing the application online, the couple will be issued a reference number that they should bring with them to the Marriage License Bureau, or the temporary office at the airport. Anyone seeking a marriage license needs to show proper identification, such as a driver’s license or passport (a complete list of allowed identification and other information is available through the Clerk’s Office web page). Marriage licenses cost $77.
