Philippine Airlines last served Perth nearly 10 years ago when it flew from Manila via Darwin, the capital of Australia’s Northern Territory. However, in June 2013, this route was stopped.

The new nonstop 7-hour flight from Manila to Perth will run 3 times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays via Airbus A321LR aircraft. Initially it was expected to begin flights in 2019, but the COVID-19 pandemic had different plans for the aviation sector.

According to OAG Schedules Analyser, the carrier currently offers daily service from Manila to Brisbane and Sydney plus 6 flights per week between the Philippine capital and Melbourne. Daily service on the latter route will be back in service starting on December 12.

Between all the flights, there will be approximately 11,000 seats available on a weekly basis between the 2 countries.
