Hosted as part of the Division of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Transportation “Tourism Month” calendar of activities, the roadshow will be hosted on the Scarborough Esplanade on Tuesday November 29th and the Cyd Gray Stadium on Thursday December 1st from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Alicia Edwards, Executive Chairman of the Tobago Tourism Agency Limited, stated: “We Are Tobago was envisioned as a multi-sensory reminder to Tobagonians of the diverse offerings of our own unspoilt island home, and an open invitation to support our tourism entrepreneurs. Our food, our people and our culture will take centre-stage at this event, which we hope will be an educational, inspirational, and of course, entertaining experience.

At the Tobago Tourism Agency, we also thought it critical at this juncture to once again communicate the Tobago beyond brand with our domestic audiences in a compelling way, enabling a space for understanding and appreciation to develop locally, to better enable our pride in our tourism product to resonate globally.”

The Roadshow aims to bring together Tobago’s tourism industry stakeholders to showcase the best of Tobago under four categories: Where to Stay, What to Do, Shop Local and Stay Connected. Entrance to the pavilion will be free, and patrons will be able to experience live entertainment, interactive games and exciting giveaways, while learning about the unique ways to enjoy destination Tobago. Members of the public interested in tourism development opportunities can also learn about various programmes and incentives, and interact with Agency staff.

The “We Are Tobago” Roadshow will be hosted by the Tobago Tourism Agency Limited with the support of public and private sector partners including the Division of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Transportation, Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean Airlines Limited, Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association and the Tobago Unique Bed and Breakfast & Self Catering Association.
