The Agargaon-Motijheel ngalaba nke Metro Rail Line 6 is set to open to the public on November 5, following its inauguration by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on November 4.

Initially, the service will run for four hours daily, with three stations operating at first, and the remaining stations gradually opening. On the inauguration day, metro rail services will be suspended, but operations will start on November 5.

Trains will run every 10 minutes from Uttara North to Motijheel between 7:30 am and 11:30 pm. After 11:30 am, services on the Motijheel to Agargaon section will only stop at Farmgate, Bangladesh Secretariat, and Motijheel stations.

The MRT northern route will be officially launched, and the MRT 5 plaque will be unveiled during the ceremony.
