Noel Cameron has recently joined the exclusive private North Island as General Manager. The head office of the island said: “He is clearly committed to exceeding expectations, whether it is those of our guests or the staff.”

Noel Cameron has worked in award-winning hotels and resorts across the UK, Africa, and the Indian Ocean, with his most recent position as General Manager of Huvafen Fushi in the Maldives. Prior to this, he was Senior General Manager at the world-renowned Singita Grumeti Reserve in Tanzania.

Noel Cameron has an extensive experience spanning over 20 years in operating luxury hotels and resorts. Noel’s leadership style and his seamless interaction with guests, coupled with his profound knowledge of independent resorts that tailor to the individual, make for an exciting addition to the Wilderness Collection and North Island.

Noel completed courses with Cornell University in Singapore and holds certificates in finance, management, and wine. He is personally passionate about volunteer work and has played key roles in corporate social responsibility, community initiatives, and fair trade products where possible.

His partner, Connie, and their two-year-old son, CJ-Max, will also join Noel on North Island in the Seychelles.
