HAWAII, USA; BRUSSELS, Belgium; VICTORIA, Seychelles; BALI, Indonesia – After more than a year of dedicated research and development, Urban Green Energy (UGE) is launching VisionAIR, its most advanced wind turbine yet. VisionAIR has been designed to maximize energy output for its users even at moderate wind speeds while maintaining its whisper-quiet operation, high quality, and aesthetic design. VisionAIR is being unveiled at the Beijing International Garden Expo, which yearly receives approximately 10 million visitors. The project features two turbines and 40 kw of solar panels, together powering the ticket center and welcoming arriving guests.

International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP) President, Professor Lipman, said: “One of our main goals is to help members embark in the Green Growth transformation, among other things, by focusing on renewable forms of energy. And this is why we are very excited about this partnership with UGE.” Lipman added: “We want the travel and tourism communities and companies to take a look at this type of initiative in general, and at the innovation of our partner UGE in creating VisionAIR, in particular.” To support its members in their Green Growth and Quality endeavors, ICTP has partnered with like-minded companies that are outstanding in their respective field of activities.

And UGE is with no doubt a leader when it comes to deploying hybrid wind, solar, and storage solutions. In essence, UGE’s expertise and restless innovation efforts in terms of distributed renewable energies (DRE) enable its clients to not only meet their power needs but also support their sustainability goals, ultimately helping global destinations to grow a smart, efficient, and sustainable tourism industry.
