HONG KONG – Hong Kong Express Airways continues to offer travelers greater choice in travel, with the launch of a new direct service to Seoul, Korea.

An initial four-flights-a-week summer service commenced today, following the
launch of the inaugural flight. From today until August 23, 2008, and responding to the demands of the busy summer travel season, flights will depart every Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, leaving Hong Kong at 0230, arriving at Incheon International Airport at 0405, and leaving Seoul at 0805, arriving in Hong Kong at 1030. Double-weekly Hong Kong-Seoul flights will be available from August 24, 2008.

A ceremony was held at the Hong Kong International Airport this morning, to
greet the inaugural flight from Korea, which sees the airline well on its way to becoming the carrier of choice in Hong Kong after this year’s launch of new
routes to Japan; daily services to Shanghai and Beijing; the Korea service; and
more highly sought after Asian destinations on the way.

Raymond Ng, director of Commerce at Hong Kong Express Airways said, “We
are delighted to launch these scheduled flights between Hong Kong and Seoul.
“Korea has long been a favored hot-spot for travelers from Hong Kong, and
with the introduction of this service we are able to offer more options and
flexibility for those travelers, with the guarantee of a quality in-flight experience. For our new Korea route, we have recruited over ten native Korean-speaking flight attendants to ensure travelers enjoy a seamless in-flight experience.”

In the past few months, Hong Kong Express has rapidly expanded and
strengthened its network in the Asian region and will continue to do so in the near future with the launch of more new routes including Manila, the Philippines and Osaka, Tokyo in September.
