The Ezumike njem Charlotte Center City hotel, located in the heart of Uptown and Charlotte’s Business and Entertainment District, is happy to announce the appointment of Adrienne Schermer as Regional Director of Business Travel Sales.
Adrienne originally hails from Pennsylvania and graduated from Pennsylvania State University. She began her hospitality career with Visit Charlotte, the local Charlotte Convention and Visitors Bureau. She has achieved over 12 years in hotel sales leadership experience, primarily with Marriott International and Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Her hospitality sales background is vast, including total account management, group sales and business travel sales experience.
Adrienne is passionate about the travel industry, and has served on the board of directors for the Charlotte Chamber’s Young Professionals and Central Chapters, as well as the Global Business Travel Association’s North Carolina Chapter. In addition to her leadership roles, Adrienne has been involved with several nonprofit organizations including Children’s Miracle Network, Dress for Success, Freedom School, BELL School Loaves & Fishes, Goodwill Industries, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. She enjoys mentoring, career coaching and resume building to help others position themselves for success.
In her spare time Adrienne enjoys Charlotte to the fullest by attending Charlotte Knight’s baseball games, various concerts, and exploring new local restaurants. She is passionate about healthy living and exercise, particularly yoga and Pilates. You can find Adrienne at the Charlotte Douglas airport hopping on a plane for business or leisure regularly.
