To reduce energy consumption, all glass windows and doors are covered with window film and guest room appliances as well as office equipment are energy efficient. To conserve water, knee operated taps are utilized in kitchens and motion sensors fitted in public restrooms. Furthermore, water efficient hoses and pressure machines are used for outdoor cleaning.
In Green Meetings, a BMS moderates air-conditioning and HVAC temperatures and settings in accordance with the number of delegates attending each event. Sustainable Meeting Packages offer reusable table decorations and potted plants in place of floral arrangements along with paperless meeting options and sustainable food and beverage menus.
Four Seasons Hotel Doha has invested and participated in several CSR activities, and donation initiatives such as Earth Hour, blood donation drives, clean-up campaigns, food donations during Ramadan and the donation of retired linen to community organisations.
