DALLAS/FORT WORTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, TX – American Airlines CRJ-900 passenger jet with 76 passengers and four crew on board was forced to make an emergency landing at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Sunday afternoon, after the crew reported a smoke in the cabin, according to an airline spokesperson.

AA flight 5775, operated by MESA Airlines, was flying from Des Moines International Airport to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, when an issue with a smoky cabin was reported.

The aircraft landed safely and no injuries were reported.
