MEDELLIN, Colombia – Delegates at the 21st Session of the UNWTO General Assembly enjoyed the spirit of Colombia’s magical realism at the Assembly Closing Dinner.

At the Closing Dinner, hosted by Colombia, UNWTO Secretary-General praised the 1709 staff Colombian staff that has been working hard to make the Assembly a reality: “This has been a truly wonderful General Assembly, and I would like to thank each and every one of you. You make Colombia shine”.

Cecilia Álvarez-Correa, Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism of Colombia, thanked all the delegates and UNWTO for the opportunity to host the event, and encouraged all guests to fully enjoy the evening ahead in true Colombian spirit.
