Before joining Argonaut Hotel, Mohamed’s most recent role as general manager of restaurant & bar at Michael Symon Restaurant & Bar, Tap House & Kitchen focused on creative initiatives across sales and marketing, daily operations, event planning, and revenue management.

For seven years, Mohamed worked with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in the Pittsburgh, San Jose, Hawaii, and San Francisco locations as director of beverage and banquet operations, where he served various United States presidents, world leaders, and celebrities. Before that role, he served two years as director of banquets for The Westin San Francisco and three years as banquet & restaurant manager at The Hotel Vitale San Francisco. In these leadership roles, he contributed to the strategic implementation of the Fairmont Hotel’s industry-leading sustainability program, creative initiatives, food and beverage standards, event planning, revenue management, and daily operations.

Mohamed received a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Southern Cross University in Australia and completed a Hospitality Management program at the Canberra Institute of Technology.
