Mr. Tairo currently writes for The East African weekly, a regional newspaper owned and published by Nation Media Group in Nairobi, Kenya, covering the 6 East African Community (EAC) member states of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan.

He has also participated and covered international, regional, and national tourism and travel exhibitions, among them, ITB Berlin, INDABA (Durban), KARIBU Travel and Tourism Fair (Tanzania), and KILIFAIR (Tanzania), among others.

Mr. Tairo has participated and planned media platforms for various international tourism conferences, including the Africa Travel Association (ATA) in Africa, IIPT (Africa), Travelers Philanthropy Conference (Tanzania), and other such travel and tourism interactive gatherings.
