29 Chinese tourists injured in Moscow tour bus crash

29 Ndị njem nleta China were injured when their tour bus hit a lamppost on a busy street in Moscow, Russia, on Sunday. The accident has been blamed on the driver.

It occurred in the northeastern part of the Russian capital, at the intersection of 1st Vladimirskaya Street and the Entuziastov highway.

Surveillance camera footage showed that the accident happened when the bus turned right abruptly to avoid rear-ending cars waiting for the traffic light at an intersection and then bumped against the utility pole, smashing the windscreen.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, treating 29 of the 32 tourists on the bus for bruises and abrasions. 19 people were hospitalized, including 2 children, a spokesman for the city’s health department said.

According to reports, authorities believe that the bus driver lost control of the vehicle due to wet road conditions.

The tour bus was bound for the ancient town of Suzdal in the Vladimir Region northeast of Moscow.
