A shooting in an airport lounge in Pakistan is developing, a setback in security and safety improvement recently in Pakistan’s travel and tourism industry.

Two persons lost their lives in a firing incident at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore on Wednesday morning.

Police said that the firing occurred at the arrival lounge in the airport, which caused panic among the people.

Meanwhile, the additional contingents of Rangers and police personnel reached the airport.

Police said that the incident took place over personal enmity. They said that two suspects have been arrested.

The security forces have sealed the area surrounding the Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, and traffic has been blocked. The entry of the airport has also been closed.

Pakistan has big plans to develop more tourism and safety which has recently greatly improved.
