According to two separate reports from the USGS (United States Geological Survey), Loyalty Islands located off the coast of New Caledonia has been struck by 2 earthquakes within a half hour of each other.

The first 6.3-magnitude quake hit today, October 16, 2018, at 00:28:13 UTC at a depth of 10 kilometers.
